Let summer begin...

It's been a strange two weeks since my last post... I've done quite a bit but I feel i've just been relaxing the whole time.

On the 1st of June, Magnus the club president organised to visit hit son's school to give a presentation on Australia to his yr 7 english class. They then let us watch their rehearsal of the final scene of 'Grease'.

Afterwards, I joined Magnus and his family for afternoon Fika and then Dinner.

A few days later I joined a group of Vittra kids on a field trip to Liseberg (the largest theme park in sweden) up in Göteborg. 2 hours sitting on a train...

(The tower is the "AtmosFear" a 146m free-fall ride which I was the only game enough to go on it 5 times)

For my Birthday my host family put together a nice BBQ and i spent the afternoon baking a Pavlova and reading the last chapters of the third book in the Millenium Series (Girl with the Dragon tattoo series). The Sandberg's were kind enough to buy me a Sverige Hoodie you will probably now see me wearing in photos from now on.

Wednesday the 6th was Sweden's National Day which I spent at Hembygdspaken, Ängelholm's community farm/ historic park with a petting zoo, museum and café.

Thursday morning was spent in Ängelholm's church to celebrate the graduating Vittra kids and bidding them farewell. This was followed by 10-pin bowling with some friends to celebrate my birthday. I didn't loose, which was good, and was even holding 2nd place before Simone got a double strike and a 8 pushing her above me.

Friday was a big day in Ängelholm because it was the day that all the 3rd year students finally graduated. I attended a friend from waterpolo Viktor's graduation party.

(Adam-centre and Ludvig-right are on the waterpolo team)

(Oscar-centre is Viktor's little brother who is also on the team)

 (Toby... also a waterpolo player)

After the Party a group of us made our way into town to meet up with the other students graduating.

Long story short; we were out until about 4am celebrating.

On Monday all the RotEx students in our district (bar Matt Kramer and Tomoji) gathered at Rosie Bliss' place on the beach for a final get-together/final goodbye.

As you can imagine... the usual shenanigans ensued.

This Friday I am finally going to visit Koenigsegg with Magnus.

Here is a GoogleMaps screen-shot of the route we will take for the EuroTour in two weeks
