EuroTour Day 9-11

Day 9 Zel Am See - Lido D'Jesolo

Sad to see to leave the alps behind, we again piled onto the bus for the long drive to Lido.

We arrived late afternoon into the city where we checked into our hotels before a quick dinner then on to seeing the town.

As it turned out, my host sister Linnea was also in Lido D'Jesolo that night, staying in a hotel about a kilometer down the road with the Ängelholm marching band. Eligh and I found them preforming in a park halfway between our two hotels.

Day 10 Lido D'Jesolo

Day 11 was our rest day, primarily spent shopping, relaxing on the beach or in the hotel's swimming pool. Joe (Kiwi), Liam (Aussie) and I hired a HobbyCat for an hour and sailed out into the Mediterranean

Day 11 Lido D'Jesolo/Venice

The morning of day 12 was spent in a similar fashion to the day before, beach, sun, and shopping.

however, Shortly after lunch we gathered outside the hotel to board the bus to take us to the wharf where a private ferry waited for us.

It was a blistering day in Venice, 36-38 degrees as we waited to board gondola's to take us on a tour of the city.

(Felix voted this "The Best Fika [coffe break] Spot in The World")

After our Gondola tour we were given 2 hours to explore the city.

There were many glass shops, selling Venice's famous Murano Glass.

Venitian Masks were popular with the other exchange students.
